PIL was formed expressly to develop, market, and sell products made from the oil of the New Zealand green lipped mussel, namely Lyprinol® and Lyprinol® Advanced for humans and Antinol® and Antinol® Rapid for animals.

PIL sells its products in 47 countries of the world and has over 1,050 shareholders. Its shares trade informally over the counter in Hong Kong.
